Idea Overview:
Each house hold produced over 300 tons of sewerage and organic waste. Currently this wast is a cost both in energy and the environment. However, if this organic wast was processed through an anaerobic digester to produce methane to power an generator to be stored. Each property has at least 80m2 of roof thsat could be turned over to solar panels and the electricity stored. Both these simple changes would make the household self sufficient in energy. Each Parish would then sell the excess to the national grid, thus reducing council tax.
