Idea Overview:
Wellbeing is a state of mind and way of life...if you choose it! Finding The Space for YOU mini excursions, workshops, and retreats are all about YOU and helping you to feel more pleasure and purpose in experiential living through the 3 C's: Connection, Collaboration, and Community.
Who might use it/where it might be used?:
I have access to utilize Kimpton Hotels in the South Florida region and will create mini 3 hour excursions, 1/2 day workshops and then branch out into longer 2-3 day weekend retreats utilizing beach, pool, sand, activities and the hotel properties to create an environment of relaxation, self reflection and to stimulate creativity, spiritulity and self leadership.
As a Wellness and Heart-Centered Living Guide, I’m here to help busy, professional women connect with themselves from the inside out to dig deeper into what will bring them true Joy. And to create a 360' wholistic approach to living a balanced, full life from a place of personal power and self reflection in community.

Why you think there is a demand for your idea?:
Because the Wellness Industry is booming, retreats and experiential travel and retreats are happening and the Travel Industry is on the rise.
Who would be the ideal customers?:
I would start with marketing to NYU South Florida Alumni in the South Florida Area -- because I am a volunteer leader on the NYU South Florida Alumni Team. The goal of moving down to Miami Beach from New York City was to create WellBeing as a state of mind and way of life and to integrate it into my every day living. I feel that there are other women out there, busy professionals without work / life balance or integration, age range may be 35 and up -- women ready to make a shift so that they can find their purpose, connect to spirituality, the path of the heart, and reconnect to creativity ...a experiential formula I am designing. From there, I could see it growing word of mouth. I could also target women professionals in the Higher Education field, as this is what my career background is in.
What ideas do you have to reach these customers?:
Utilizing the NYU South Florida Miami Beach Pool Party Social Hours I am putting on (one in the fall / one in the spring) and then a Women's WellBeing event in may 2024 partnered with the NYU Women's Initiatives and NYU South Florida Alumni Chapter. To start.
How far have you developed this idea?:
I have only discussed with some practioners to have them as a part of the events - but not as a partner.
My sister is starting a Miami Based Beauty Brand Company. A former C Suite Beauty Industry Leader, she has branched out. She also asked me if i would want to be he Director of Community Engagement -- I could see a partnership to thread the Beauty Brand with the Miami Beach Community for Womens Wellbeing.

A first step to validating your idea would be to create a waitlist of people that would be interested to hear how you are getting on with the development of your wellbeing experiential excursions and to be the first to the notified when you are in a position the run them. This way you can target your customer segment – NYU South Florida Alumni/ Women 35+ to see if your assumption that they would be interested is correct (they join the Waitlist).
