Gym equipment is linked up to electrical generators. So your workout generates electricity. This is stored, totalled up and sold to electric companies, and you as a customer get a cut of the sale.

people who want to use a gym but not waste money on subscriptions when they don't attend. this will motivate them to attend and help generategreen energy.

the gym industry is big and expanding all the time, and green energy is also gaining popularity. a lot of people pay for gym subscription but don't use it. this motivates them.

A few US companies had a go at this, about ten years ago – see http://progressiveengineer.com/company-profile-rerev-human-dynamo-and-the-green-revolution/. It would be worth researching them to see what worked and what didn’t. Today, climate change is a hot topic, so carbon-neutrality is even more appealing than a decade ago.
