Professional services
Is there a similar idea to be found?:
Yes, however, there is a big demand in the area.
Why you think there is a demand for your idea?:
Firstly, there has been a shift in disease burden, with more individuals living longer with chronic conditions that require ongoing care. This has led to an increased demand for community healthcare services that can provide continuous support and management of these conditions, as they cannot be cured by episodes of acute hospital treatment alone. Additionally, the healthcare industry in the UK is currently facing a shortage of nurses. This shortage has put additional strain on healthcare services, resulting in increased demand for healthcare professionals and services.

This space is becoming quite crowded with health apps and wearable IOT devices. How is yours going to differentiate itself and protect itself against competition?

    • PureCare Connections - June 21, 2023 at 4:34 pm

Hi Simon, many existing healthcare apps primarily target young and healthy individuals who are already proactive about their well-being. However, we recognise that there is a significant underserved population who face unique challenges and require specialised care. Our aim is to develop personalised health tracking systems that cater to those who require assistance and support in managing their health and improving their quality of life. By doing that we can bridge this gap and extend our services to disabled individuals, those with chronic conditions, and the elderly.

Very commendable idea, serving an area where there’s a real problem!

I feel like the pitch could benefit from a few more iterations, to become clearer. I’m not sure exactly what the business is yet. Is it helping users take control of their own healthcare? Is it providing care services? Is it both? If the latter, what will this look like exactly?

    • PureCare Connections - June 21, 2023 at 5:25 pm

Hi Colm, thank you for your comment. I believe we do need to make a pitch clearer. We would like to offer healthcare services with a personalised focus on the customer’s health. We will be offering wearable devices and tracking any changes in health conditions. Our purpose is not just to offer care, but to improve the quality of life of our customers. Atm we are working on the website, however, there is gonna be an app for that in the future.

Providing customized meals and residential cleaning services seem to be marketable items – do you have data on how these relate to the needs of prospective customers?
I am unsure what health care information will be provided by wearable devices. Will this be heart rate, blood pressure and/or other time-of-day information?

    • PureCare Connections - June 21, 2023 at 5:49 pm

Hi Tim, it`s very impressive that you even read additional info 🙂 All data we have has been collected by my partners who have over 18 years of experience in the healthcare industry. So we realised there is a gap in that field. You are absolutely right, the data that we will be collecting is heart rate, blood pressure, blood oxygen levels. Would be great if we are able to provide high-tech watches that can do echocardiogram, because such technology can detect complications that can lead to a stroke or other heart-related issues. Also, by tracking health we can provide specific customised meals. By regulating the diet, customers’ quality of life can be improved too.

What’s your team composition look like?

    Very impressive idea.

What is your price range for customers? Is it affordable for the middle-class population?

Older people face problems with using high-tech gadgets. Most of the time, they are not comfortable using it. Are you planning to use any special used-friendly technique for them?
