Love ginger drinks! Underrated in my opinion. How can we help you with your idea?

I’ve tasted a few of the flavours at the networking event and they are indeed very tasty! Well done on bringing in the ‘health’ factor. Any ideas on introducing new flavours? I would recommend that if you haven’t done so already, you mention the health benefits on the packaging.

What are you thinking about delivery? Chilled, or pasteurised? Food stores, or hospitality, or delivered? In the UK we have many juice bars, specialising in juice and smoothies, making them freshly on the spot – probably operated as a franchise.

The health aspect is intriguing, but you need to tread carefully. There are legal restrictions on the nutrition and health claims you’re allowed to make. For example, here’s the EU register of permitted claims https://ec.europa.eu/food/safety/labelling_nutrition/claims/register/public/?event=search
And in the UK, “Claims that state, suggest or imply that a food has the property of preventing, treating or curing a human disease will continue to be prohibited by the Food Labelling Regulations 1996 (as amended). Products that make claims such as this may be are subject to medicines legislation.”

I believe it’s vitally important to your progress that you detail your supply chain from start to finish, even if it’s just on paper and based on research. This will not only allow you to discover what it will really take to get your product to the consumer, but most importantly, if you can at all. It will also demonstrate to any potential investor that you are taking this seriously. Good luck with it.
