Which parts of Brexit does this idea solve?

Customs Union, Hard Border with Ireland, Delays at Borders, Tariff Surges, All Scenarios

Idea Overview:

Instead of being trapped in the backstop, simply have an additional term which allows the UK to rejoin the EU on its current terms. Brexiteers happy as no way of being trapped without a say, and can always trigger Article 50 again in the future to leave. Remainers happy because it is easy to rejoin the EU if it doesn't work out. If the EU don't want us to leave, then why would they be against this option.
