Idea Overview:
Everything started as 'just' an idea. Everyone has great ideas at some point in their life. This is a TV show aimed at helping people to develop ideas 'ideally live' on a tv show. Or at least with input from people beyond the show, who want to buy or get involved in the idea. An interactive almost gameshow feel tv show based on turning ideas into reality is a great Brexit Britain economy stimulator! Brits have always had ideas, more than ever WE need them. This way - the innovator, can do really well from coming up with valuable ideas.
Who might use it/where it might be used?:
Anyone who's had a hare-brained?? idea .. that could just be worth millions! (either to be ON the show or certainly watch it!) Inventors are a logical group. Tho, in reality there is vast 'belief' in people having great ideas that they simply do not know what to do with.
The Market (B2B, B2C or Both):
Business to Consumers (B2C)
Sector the idea belongs to:
Media and entertainment
Why you think there is a demand for your idea?:
One of the evidences is the number of people who even get as far as appearing on Dragons Den ... when they have no desire whatsover to RUN (be CEO etc) of a biz! What they have is a potentially excellent Idea ..with degrees of Proof Of Concept. What they want is someone to (eg) buy or license their idea. As they are not now, nor do not intend to be - an entrepreneur, or someone who runs biz's 24/7. Teens have novel ideas - so do Grandparents! The market awareness and potential is massive. In so doing we can create a Buzz about the value of ideas... which is the next biz++ show waiting to happen. The online opporunities linked to WTBI show - in terms of data & other revenue streams is also highly significant.
Who would be the ideal customers?:
The customer initially is a TV production co. Unless we start a podcast 1st to create early traction.
What ideas do you have to reach these customers?:
Pure prospecting & of course looking for introductions.
How far have you developed this idea?:
One way or another, WTBI in some format will be present in our QOLLYWOOD Knowledge Industry Collaboration community. It will spawn another new profession (name under wraps for now) Even drawing on IdeasVault as a place to register ideas - is an activity WTBI seeks to stimulate. WTBI, either stand alone or connected to another project is something that causes many other good things to happen. If people could make a living helping others develop their ideas, that's true win-win. Connecting it to a TV show just 20X's the whole process and positive drumbeat effewct we seek to stimulate.
What – if any – feedback have you had for this idea so far?:
Many elements have been semi used before in various ways. It just seems to point towards a TV format (the next wave beyond Dragons Den).. to really engage EVERYONE in the power of ideas! We have sufficient feedback to indicate this is a biz or project in various forms. TV is just the quantum jump strategy if it can be pulled together. We have sold ideas & deals on various webinars & conferences over the years, which gets a real buzz going. This is where TV seemed to be a real avenue to explore. And with 12R Idea focus AND media experience .. this also became a gloriouys way to unify some major initiatives into a real movement.
What supporting material – if any - would you like to add to your proposal?:
The narrative so far should suffice to this point.

Mark, this looks like a really good idea. It sounds like the best way forward would be to run it by a TV producer. Maybe you can ask Jake Shaw if he knows anyone.

Brilliant idea. I see interest from most every demographic. I also agree your next step is approaching right *REAL TV Producers but before that, you absolutely need to develop a pitch deck specifically for this market. The reason I *capitalize real is they get ideas thrown at them all the time. If you’ve done your homework and demonstrated effort, a producer is more likely to pay attention to you. Luckily, we are in a day and age where streaming networks are popping up all over. These are potential outlets for your idea and all of them are keeping their doors own for low production cost (which this could fall in this category if marketed correctly) and high viewable (which I believe you conceptually have) productions. But, what they all want is to see at least one completed pilot segment. Remember, it’s a visual business! Good luck with it.
